Bearly There - Poster Design

Theatre Sprout got in touch with a commission to create images to promote their new touring children’s theatre show Bearly There. Bears are one of my favourite things to draw, so it was a dream project!

While the show was being developed they needed an image they could use, without show times or venues. These were two variations of the design, with colours adjusted to capture the changing seasons. At this stage the bear puppets were being created, so we didn’t know exactly what they would look like.

The Final Poster and Flyer Design

The final poster was created once the details all came through. The bear design was changed to match the design of the puppets, and the little car was added to show that Bear was going on a journey, designed to match one of the props in the show.

I was invited to see a preview of the show which was BRILLIANT! The puppetry was excellent and it was such a sweet story for small children and grownups alike. Catch a Theatre Sprout show if you can!
