The Greenhouse

The Valley of Light came to Saltburn Valley Gardens, illuminating the night sky with light, art, and happy faces.

I was commissioned by Stellar Projects to create a greenhouse in tribute to gardeners past and present who worked in the valley.

The greenhouse was filled by fabric flowers created by Brownies and Guides from Saltburn and Easington and children from Errington Primary School. A soundscape was created telling the stories of people who worked and played in the valley.

During the two day festival I ran workshops creating birds with families, using glowsticks to make them shine in the dark.
