Hi, I’m Kat!
I’m an illustrator focused on storytelling, visual literacy and creative engagement. My work explores how images and text come together to build narrative worlds, from creating book to exploring playful, immersive forms of storytelling.
I design and deliver inclusive, hands-on workshops for mixed audiences, from children to adults, encouraging people to engage with stories through drawing, making and collaborative creativity. My approach is accessible and low-pressure, inviting people to explore storytelling in ways that connect with their own interests and experiences.
I have worked in libraries, festivals and community spaces, creating welcoming environments where people of all ages and confidence levels can experiment, imagine and share stories together.
I work from my home studio in Teesside, in the north-east of England.
