  • Learn

Learning is embedded into the workshops. I embrace learning by doing, running activities that encourage problem solving and creative thinking.

  • Explore

Participants will explore concepts and ideas, supported by experienced practitioners. We can cover a range of subjects in fun engaging ways.

  • Imagine

Sessions are designed to encourage the sharing of ideas and concepts, valuing the ideas of young people and families.

  • What an amazing day we had yesterday! The children were so engaged with all the activities and it was fabulous to do it amongst the displays. Thank you all for your hard work and preparation. Would love to work with you all again soon.

  • I have taken my grandson to several of Kat’s Community events.  Both he and I had a great time and came home really happy and enthusiastic, having both learnt something and enjoyed ourselves at the same time.  She is such a warm and patient instructor who prepares her activities meticulously, has amazing ideas, and can relate to all age groups and abilities.  I’ve found these events both fun and valuable for my grandson, building his confidence in expressing himself in various ways through artistic activities.  I think she is doing valuable work in introducing people from all walks of life to activities and expressive concepts they may otherwise never have the opportunity to experience.

Workshops are designed to meet your needs. This could look like:

  • A drop-in session linked to a festival’s theme

  • A workshop designed to support an exhibition

  • Explore topics like ecology, science and technology

  • Fun sessions developing characters and narratives

Workshops can form part of larger projects, residencies and installations. Kat loves collaborations, and embeds co-creation into projects, giving community made work a larger platform to be shared and celebrated. In The Pop up Cardboard Museum of Natural History from the Future bugs made in the community became part of a touring installation and performance.

    ✔️ Enjoy the workshop
✔️ Take photos to share later
