Workshops and Events

Have you got an event you need an artist for? I can help!

I can create bespoke workshops for:

  • School workshops

  • Festivals

  • Museums and other public spaces

  • Corporate and private events

I have over 15 years experience working in education. I worked in schools as an LSA for 8 years, worked as a Training Manager in a center for lifelong learning, and ran a large international online community supporting artists from all backgrounds.
I love collaborations, and frequently work with Carmen Marcus a writer to develop and deliver workshops with art, literacy and STEM elements, drawing on local heritage and environmental themes.

Past Events

The Big Draw 2023

I was joined by families across Redcar & Cleveland at Kirkleatham Museum to create a giant picture filled with underwater creatures, both real and imaginary. Over the course of the day the underwater scene was populated with mermaids, angler fish, plankton and every sea creature you can imagine!

The Big Draw is huge celebration of drawing with over 500,000 people taking part each year across the world.

Lobster Pots & Lemontops

Working with writer Carmen Marcus, we created a programme of activity to support Kirkleatham Museum’s Lobster Pots & Lemontops exhibition.
We delivered a fun filled education day for Coatham School, as well as a family day for the public. The children experimented with boat making, testing them and seeing who could hold the heaviest weight. They designed their own seaside outfits, learnt how to tie a variety of knots, designed an arcade, learnt about fishing the seasons, fishing traditions and created wish fish.

What an amazing day we had yesterday!
The children were so engaged with all the activities and it was fabulous to do it amongst the displays. Thank you all for your hard work and preparation.

Would love to work with you all again soon.
