The Pop-up Cardboard Museum Part 2

The Cardboard Museum of Natural History from the Future has been popping up in different places this year, with workshops from myself and Hollie Notman, as well as with performances from Leigh and Tyler.

At Preston Park Museum it was all about the birds. You can see the gorgeous peacock made by Hollie with help from the community and the flock of birds made in my sessions.

The 1st Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival

The Year of Reading saw Middlesbrough hold it’s first storytelling festival. The Cardboard Museum was there, in MIMA running making sessions throughout the week with Hollie and performances on festival days.

I was also running character design sessions for the National Literacy Trust, it was a busy time!
It was a great atmosphere, so I’m hoping this becomes a regular event.

The Museum of Hartlepool

For our residency at Hartlepool Museum I was joined by artist Meghan Darby. We made a lot of fish with the families who visited, before showtime at the weekend.
